Will Super 8 be "super"?

Oh jj abrams. Please show the creatures. Cloverfield was a disappointment - don't you know by now that the general american public has little imagination. We need to see it - tell us what to imagine and we'll play off of that. I do think super eight looks quite interesting, with a lot of suspense and action. My only concern, aside from my sarcastic complaint above, is the length of time before we see the creature, person or persons. Let's not make it too long, though at this point there's not much that can be done about it right? So here's to hoping it matches up with Xmen in fun and transformers in potential. Looks promising, but JJ has been living of the vibe of Lost for too long...give us quality, because the man is certainly capable. I'll let you know my thoughts when I see it. Cheers.
